Andy Medici is currently attending American University’s School of Communication graduate program in journalism and public policy. Andy has most recently worked as the managing editor of The Northside Chronicle, a community newspaper in Pittsburgh, and a staff writer for Pittsburgh Professional magazine. While at The Northside Chronicle, Andy helped design and construct a brand new interactive website that recently won a Pennsylvania Newspaper Association award for best social networking tools in its division.

Born in Evanston Ill., and raised in Northern Virginia, Andy has interned at print publications, television stations and for the daily student newspaper at the University of Pittsburgh. He has won both state awards from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association and a national award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

Andy is currently residing in Northern Virginia and is working for the Bureau of National Affairs publication while pursuing his masters degree.
